HAVE YOU EVER SEEN A YELLOW CAT?

Have you ever seen a yellow cat?

Here's one.

We have gone yellow this month and it's all due to Rike's challenge "The Colour Yellow" at "Art Journal Journey".

Have you met a romantic flower?

Here's one.

"Love is in the air" at "Moo-Mania" and
the word is "Romance" at  "Try it on Tuesday"

and the cats

 and flowers

 and birds

 are being romantic together.

Have the very best February (my favourite month along with October (and a few other months)) and see you again soon.

Bleubeard gives this two paws up because he believes you drew him along with the darling yellow cat and kitty. He's not too sure about the romance, though. Romance, maybe. Fairy tale, yes. The flowers look like they are having a romantic moment. This is such an adorable page that could ONLY come from the mind and drawings of you, dear Sheila. Thank you for this great entry you created using Rike's theme at Art Journal Journey.

Now I see a yellow striped cat with an amazing expression on her face - it's like the smile of Mona Lisa!
The romantic flower is smiling too, HE has some grass between his lips and is whistling ... a song about yellow :)
And here is the whole romantic scenery - yes, it is romantic, because birds and cats live there in harmony - and I also find yellow in the sky! I really love this little bird flying from the left side into the picture in an incredible fast dive! And the second little flower on the left is saying to the one "What do you whistling? I don't know this song".
Thank you for linking your sunny artwork to my yellow theme at AJJ! I appreciate it!
Love, Rike
P.S. Great new header too - I see yellow in it :)

I LOVE all the romance coming out from this lovely scenery. I am sure there are yellow cats when red ones sit in the sun their fur glistens yellow!
A wonderful painting with so much adorable details- I could look at it for hours Sheila! And fitting AJJ, MM&M and TIOT at once! Genius!
Happy Sunday and thank you three times for joining all the challenges and another three times for cheering me up this Sunday morning!
Happy Sunday and happy start of the new week ahead!
Every month is a fabourite month ...am I right?! I love them all! At least every month brings amazing art at the challenges!

Big hugs

I love your cats, but the dog beside me on this sofa, isn't so thrilled :D A bit envious, I think!

Love is in the air in your work <3

Your pages always make me happy but this one especially so. Maybe because it is all about spring or summer and happy cats which I a guessing are enjoying a gorgeous day in the sunshine. It is all about the romance of those kind of days and maybe even a little romance between the higher 2 cats and the third is their little kitten. Hope you are having a nice winter weekend! Hugs-Erika

Douglas is not yellow, he's very courageous ! Your ginger tom is definitely looking for his spring. I like the birds. As always, your combination of painting and photoshop is terrific. Love it, Awesome !!

I can’t say that I ever remember seeing a yellow cat until now. I love his two-tone yellow striping. His coloring really shows off his green eyes. I think all flowers are romantic. I love the romantic orgie going on out in the Spring meadow. The meadow painted grasses are fabulous how they mix and blend together. Love the colors! And the sky too. Those two clouds will be in love soon.

Oh, I see it's springtime for you! The first leaves can already be seen on the tree, the first flowers are already outside, birds are chirping everywhere and the cats want to get married soon!
The yellow tomcat has to take good care...there is still a black rival!
Unfortunately it's not time yet, we still have to wait for spring, but we can look forward to your colorful picture!
Best regards - Ulrike

heart warming romance in the air of the nature you depicted. the red flowers really look like they would embrace each other soon. and the three small flowers on the right, do they try to find out what is going on with the cats? mouths open, astonished;)
sheila, you are really telling stories with your wonderful paintings... here we have some spring like days in between snowfall days... the normal crazyness of winter. but that´s fine. long ago i decided not to moan about weather, esp as my hobbies are not dependent on it;)
have a great week and a wonderful february, xox

Bleubeard thinks this looks even MORE like him in the enlarged version. He really likes the eyes. He thinks the birds are looking so romantic, there will be lots of colorful baby birds very shortly. I like this updated version a LOT, Sheila and so does Bleubeard.

I love how you brought all of them together in one romantic picture 😁. The little flowers look like they are about to embrace which is so sweet! The tree looks like he is peering around the corner of the picture with his two green eyes ...lol 😉. I love your cats and little birds too, especially the bird that is smiling. That sky is so magical, the colours remind me of a beautiful sunset! Thanks so much for joining us at Try it on Tuesday! Happy February! J 😊 x

Hello again dear Sheila! Your sweet landscape with all the nice animals and flowers look so nice and friendly and I can see that they are all in love. In real life the first birds came in our gardens and were singing. Also the first small flowers are growing. Spring is coming by and by. Hope you feel fine and your garden is also filled with birds and first flowers.
Big Hugs to you and Douglas.

Oh, gosh, everyone in your painting looks so happy to me, with a bit of mischievousness in the kitties faces. It makes me smile. The colors are quite spring like and inviting too.

Sheila, I just want to step into your landscape and stay there! Love it! What fun:)

ha ha - oh happy day - brilliant Sheila! Love the colours and whimsical scene.
Romance may be in the air but that yellow cat looks like he has michief on his mind :) ...not seen any yellow cats but apparently there were several blue cats and dogs around here (about a week ago reported as resembling smurfs) as there was a fire in somesort of (commercial?) outbuilding which had lots of packets of ink powder in and the powder got up in the air I suppose.
Back to your lovely painting - I like the tree in the corner, the leaves look like eyes - he looks like he should have a smile painted on his trunk :)
Have a great day...

Oh Sheila, every time I visit your blog I ask myself 'What am I thinking, why don't I visit here more often?' because every time I do visit your art makes me so happy! I think I need to add you to my sidebar if that's okay? (not that it's any guarantee that I will visit more often as I always seem to be on catch up!!!)
I love your yellow cat and the romantic flower...and I love how they got together with their other friends! A very big THANK YOU for joining us at Try it On Tuesday! Hugs, Chrisxx
