VERY SMALL COLLAGE

I got very excited last month when "Art Journal Journey" had the theme "Inspired by the Masters" and thought I might carry on with that theme this month, but now the theme is "Collage" and I am off and running with this theme.
Both themes were suggested by Valerie at "Bastelmania", so thanks very much, Valerie.
And a huge thanks to Susi at "Froebelsternchen" who organises and runs "Art Journal Journey" and comments on every entry every single month, a Herculean task.

My collage is tiny, 3 x 3¼ inches,

but don't think because it is tiny, it was quick to make.  My desk is still covered in miniscule snippets of paper, I'll have to herd them all up and put them in a tin.

Here it is in another colourway.

It was made with washi tape, magazine cuttings and watercolour drawings.
Oh, and a smidgeon of photo-editing.

Linking to "Paint Party Friday" where blogging friends share what they have made this week.

oh,that´s really tiny... i wouldn´t have thought this if you hadn´t mentioned the size. and working in this small scale can take more time than bigger ones.
i like your combinations of bits and pieces and am always fascinated by your playing with photo-editing!

Ok...I think I've got you figured out now. I've been thinking you're working tiny, but I now think you are the tiny one working large. Right? Am I right. (Silliness). I can't even imagine trying to get all that goodness onto such a tiny canvas! And in such a creative organized fashion. This is quite fun to look at. I could not choose a favorite colourway as they both look great.

Working small can be a great effort sometimes. I can imagine all the little snippets of papers ... decorating your workspace!

Wonderful little work, too. Love it!

Love your little mini-collage. The colors are fantastic. I love the idea of a mini collage. You could use it in a bigger piece. Collages within collages. HMMM. Think I need to go play with that idea.

I'm journaling in my pink pig sketchbook at the moment and the quality of that paper is great!
Thanks for the tip!

Isn't it so true?! Tiny things can take me just as long as larger pieces - sometimes longer! Well, I love your results - the combinations here are just beautiful! xoxo

These are so beautiful, all the more so for being so small. It is so hard to work on such a small piece and include as much detail as you have. I can't make up my mind which one I like best, both are stunning x
