A WALK IN THE FOREST

I drew and painted each individual image and the background with watercolour pens and watercolours, combined them together with photo-editing and made some more colour and pattern adjustments once the picture was composed.

This is wonderful Sheila..I love how bright the person is against the dark forest... he is not afraid - what a positive work ! Love how you put your individual parts together ... I am on the way to peek in Photoshop at the moment.. have to try this in such a way with my personal drawings also... but for now I just practice the simples things with this different levels - my PhotoFiltre is so much more easier for me....
Thank you Sheila for another exclusive Orange Esmeralda artpiece for the theme! Have a great day♥♥♥

Ooooh !! Love the Ghosts, particularly the table monster and the caterpillar. Perhaps the wee girl is actually leading them through the forest to do some serious haunting. Marvellous use of mixed media. Love it, Awesome !!

Another wonderful creation for your brilliant challenge Sheila!
The person seems to have a lot on their mind as they brave the forest or are they leading everyone safely out into the light...

I really love the colors you've put together in this new woodsy creation. You create the most imaginative wonderful plant life. I wish so much of it were real and growing in my yard. And the characters who get to play and romp in your beautiful woods are so lucky and imaginative themselves. The clothes your person wears are quite the contrast to its melloncolly strole. Being in that forest will surely cheer him/her up soon enough.

This is lovely, the little girl being watched over as she goes safely on her way, I love the tree trunks but love especially the way you have managed to portray the little girl so predominately, after all she is just a little girl, it's the other creatures who you have created who are so unusual. Fantastic piece of art.

What an eery forest, Sheila - heads with no bodies, bodies which are all head, ooh, very spooky, very Halloween-y, I love it! Your little girl walking there is very brave, with the awesome millipede prowling behind her. I wonder if she knows it is there? Hugs!

Oh, I'm so sorry for not having written to that before!!
I like all this monsters and ghosts in your deep forest. They don't look very friendly but I'm sure they will be kind to that little girl. But I think the girl doesn't know and IS afraid of them.
But now she's home again as I saw some minutes ago. I hope she will sleep very well and wake up tomorrow happily!!
