FOUR TREES SHOW THEIR COLOURS

Hello friends.
I've been away on holiday - no Internet, no computers, no phones, no radio, no television, no newspapers - just a lot of walking, reading, eating, puzzle-solving and a little art-making.

Before I left I made a going-away card for Mr. Esmeralda and me which fitted this month's "Soartful" challenge theme "The Motor Car".

Would you like to make an artwork on "The Motor Car"?  All of us at "Soartful" would be so happy to see it.

The theme at "Mix it Monthly" is "Trees".

Hope all is well with you and I'm looking forward to visiting you soon.

Welcome back from your holidays, and glad to hear you had such a restful time, remote from modern communications! Your 'going away' car seems from bygone era, I just love the orange, purple and pinky-
yellows tones, and the curvy running board. The trees are surrounded by such vibrant colours, each so well co-ordinated with the tree colouring - you have such a lovely colour sense, Sheila. Hugs xx

I swear, you must live in the land of gumdrops and lollipops where all is happy and colorful and never a care in the world. :-) And everyone there gets to travel around in cars that look yummy enough to eat and the trees too! I think it must be a little like Whoville. Your happy art gives me a spring in my step for the day!

Hi Sheila, I hope you enjoyed your holiday! Your car is very sweet. Is that the one you took for your holidays??? It looks like a car which can find it's way by its own. A very clever car!
I hope I will have the time and an idea for your challenge... I'll do my best!!!

Hello dear friend, great to see you are back. Such lovely trees and that motor car is a real favourite! I'm not at all into cars but this one would be fun to have a ride in, I love it!

Ahh, your car is wonderful. Reminsicent of the one in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, lol. I can't imagine a holiday without modern contacts, they are all so engrained in our lives now aren't they? And how quickly that happened, compared to the thousands of years previous without them. How strange that for many of us, we live our lives barely speaking to our close neighbours, if indeed we even know who our close neighbours are, or what they look like, yet we can chat happily online, to people from all around the globe. *gosh* all that at nearly midnight!! Lol
Your trees are beautilfully coloured and are perfect for any festive time of the year :D
Have a great week ahead :D

Welcome back...you were missed dear Sheila!
What a lot of adventures one could enjoy in such a fine motorcar and getting to spend time in your magical forest would be really wonderful too!
Mr M and I are headed off for two weeks at the beach end of this week...time to twinkle our toes in the sand again

Hello SheilaI love your very happy and colourful car, the shape reminds me of cars when I was little. And the trees such lovely colours. You certainly know how to design and put together the most fantastic colours.
