EXPERIMENTS WITH COLLAGE - PART 2

With painting and pen drawing,
collaging with my own painted papers,
a little stamping
and a frame created by photo-editing the finished piece itself,
this evolved .......

I made it for the challenge at "Art Journal Journey" where the theme this month is "Flower Power".

This is a wonderful creation Sheila..I love all about it .. the most terrific part for me is that the flowers grow out from the middle -like they would float...amazing!The turquoise is so fantastic to calm it down a bit and give the eye a resting space...

wonderful artwork!
Thanks a lot for a fab FLOWERPOWER piece for our
ART JOURNAL JOURNEY month of July!

Wow, all the textures and details and motion in this piece. I really love that palm tree flower. I love the colors of the petals and then the light color framing of them. Your collage of color and flowers and motion makes me think this is a place I'd like to visit...full of life and vitality!

Wow! I love this, Sheila! One can look at any part of the scene and see designs within designs. My favourite part is the pink and purple embossed style leaves with the yellow and pink background. A very intricate picture. Hugs!

This is like a representation of a beautiful dream, with its colorful and surreal imagery. I believe it would make a beautiful print for a scarf. Blessings!

Beautiful! I love how you did that frame, how your drawing is repeated in the frame.

Really Flowerpower ... like in paradise. Beautifully combined - and all the different techniques that you used. I marvel and look, I constantly discover something new.
When I look to the left edge, almost in the middle and front of the frame, I can see a kissing couple. A woman with long, blonde hair with a purple bow and a man with short, black hair. Maybe Adam and Eve :)
love, Gerda

Amazing artwork dear Sheila. A lovely choice of colours. Very clever that you doubled the middle motiv and at last the georgous Border decoration. I like your kind of artwork very much.
Have a good week.
