THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU DYE YOUR HAIR PINK

We are now at week 3 of the "Summer of Color" challenge.

Thanks to all of you who visited Orange Esmeralda last week and left a comment, it was lovely to meet so many new and old friends in Blogland.

I thought the colours this week were quite difficult.

I had drawn out a few ideas the day before, but they didn't fit this colour scheme, so I had to start again.

The picture took a life of its own and gave me this warning.

Think twice before you dye your hair pink.

If you have time, do go and visit the wonderful artists who are having a colourful artistic six-week party here.

I'm linking to "Art Journal Journey" whose theme is "Houses".

Here from SoC - what a fabulous picture! I think that sight of such a creature at ones window would be likely to turn ones hair grey!! Haha. Excellent fun! :o))

Hey, I used to have pink hair, seriously! Long before it was popular. I was The Pink Gypsy and had a bellydance personna. LOL. This post reminded me of that time long ago.

I understand the warning now. Dyed pink hair can attract strange creatures. Good to know! But the strange creature is at least not scary looking...more like curious and friendly and so pretty. LOVE the house so much! I think you worked the colors magnificently.

What fun images. When you have only three colors, one of them has to go on the hair. I didn't have to think twice about dying my hair pink. I never considered it at all.

Hi Sheila, What fantastic works you've made and what beautiful colours. Love your awesome creature and the lady with your hair pink. I would not wear pink hair but I like to see it in other people. The title is very fun. I'm sorry for my English is not very good but I try to improve it.

Cute!!! You did a good job with the palette.

Although already creeping in a gray hair here and there:( , I would not dye my hair pink. Your new creature looks great with all the many legs and the exceptional mane. I hope it's behaved and not terrified the people in the house.
