A LITTLE ORANGE

The challenge at Take a Word this week is to use the colour Orange in your artwork.  Orange Esmeralda was, of course, ecstatic and I'm afraid she got carried away and tried to fill the whole house with orange coloured designs.

I gave her one of my oil pastel and ink paintings to play with.

This is what she did with it.

She wanted another one.

Orange E. loves making symmetrical patterns.

Finally she calmed down (slightly) and made a card painted with water-colour pens and a little help from her old friend Photo Edit.

I make most of my designs into cards, and Inkspirational challenge this week has as its theme three colours, orange, star fruit and melon, so I am linking to this with the design above the tree.
And when I casually mentioned that there was a weekly challenge site called "Mandarin Orange Monday" we zoomed over there too.

Orange Esmeralda loves Orange!

And I love the kaleidoscope patterns you made! How did you do that? (If you can give away trade secrets that is!)
Happy MOM even though for me it is still Sunday...maybe I will play with orange too this afternoon!

The kaleidoscopes are amazing but I also love your idea of coloured igloos. Very imaginative and inventive seemingly simpler pictures, although I am sure it is there complexity which makes them look simple.
