IF A COW EATS A FLOWER WITH WINGS WILL IT BE ABLE TO FLY?

My friend M. always makes beautiful gardens.  Her flower borders are a delight.  Tall plants stand up straight and clumping flowers stay in sweet little clumps.  The plants merge together in a friendly orderly way.

I can buy a dear little plant in a two inch pot, give it plenty space and within a couple of months it is all over the border, climbing up other plants and trying to get over the fence.  It would fly up to join the birds if it could.

While I was thinking about this (as one does) the computer that is my brain came up with this question
"If a cow eats a flower with wings will it be able to fly?".

The cow and flowers were painted by the mouse using Photoshop, the trees were rescued from an older painting and the background was created using an earlier watercolour.

I am always astonished by what the mouse does, it has a mind and ideas of its own.

  5. I love the orange cow. I think it would be a fun world if more cows were orange and if they could fly. I know what you mean about gardens. Mine sound like yours. Right now the plants have grown heater skelter everywhere. No order for certain. I guess I need to do some thinning or just start from scratch. Or just leave them to see what happens. That might mean they take over everything. Have a great day and new week. Hugs Erika

  9. Are you kidding me?! Where is the answer? I am looking everywhere. How am I to get through this utterly hot day not knowing the answer?! Since it comes from your art world, I'm going to say the answer is YES, of course it will! How could it not be true, that cow is so danged adorable, and so curious looking. He is NOT going to be able to resist chomping those cute winged flowers. As always, seeing your art makes me feel happy and carefree.

  11. You certainly have a fabulous imagination and I love how you share your fantastical thoughts. I can well imagine you having fun with all of this! Such fun too to play with the mouse and come up with this cow who really looks like she's wondering deeply about those flowers. I love their lilac bow leaves. I think she will have a nibble and who knows maybe even end up hovering gently or flying happily in the air, anything is possible in Orange Esmeralda land!

  19. Oh your flowers are the wild artistic whimsical types, much like their owner they prefer not to stay in the perfect little rows of life! They like to bend and stretch beyond their ken to see what's out there. To carve new paths! Love your inquisitive cow, the expression is perfect! If pigs can fly then so can cows! I have made a few pigs fly myself! Fun post!

  20. Your cutie pie.....I LOVE your cow. It is so darn cute. I am SO glad you inspired me to start playing with drawing with Photoshop. Last night I spent hours on one and then my computer ran out of power and I had not saved as I was going along. I know better than that. I lost everything. What a bummer. I now have to start all over tonight to have one for tomorrow. I am trying my best to do one a day so I will improve. Hugs. genie
