A LITTLE HOUSE WITH A GARDEN

The October challenge theme at "Art Journal Journey" is "Architecture".

The first four letters of the word "Architecture" make the word "Arch" which inspired me to make a little house with an arched doorway.

It was painted with oil pastels and watercolours and measures about 17 x 11 inches.

  11. he quote, creating first the garden, before you build a castle, tells me that a garden is very important for you! And I can see in your picture that you love flowers! Large garden and a small, fine castle - that is, what everyone wants!
With architecture you have chosen a great topic! Greetings from UlrikeT

  31. I don't know how I've missed a post of yours? I love this beauty in darkness. That is a mighty castle that appears to be holding back the dark and bleak as it protects its own lovely garden to keep it from becoming dark and bleak. I love your painting techniques.
