ORANGE ESMERALDA IS IN THE GARDEN

This is a good time of year in the garden when the plants are just starting to grow and are sitting neatly where they have been put.
There are trays of vegetables waiting to be potted up or planted, flower beds to be re-organised and new plants and bulbs looking to find a place.

Because there is so much to do I am often gardening by day

and by night

Painted with watercolour pens and black fineliner pen for day
and changed with Photoshop for night.
Each is just over postcard size, 6 x 5 inches.

  7. I'd love to be sitting in that garden both day and night. Both are so enchanting and inviting. Your unique little garden pet is adorable! I think Susi has it correct...a chickencat. Love the house shape, the tree shape, the rickety fence. It all just draws in my curiosity to go indoors too.

  12. Not a weed in sight. Flowers in tidy rows perhaps I should give up real gardening and make a painted one. Love the 4 legged chicken. Once again in awe of your skill to change day into night. Looked again at that bird, is it a chicken? who cares it is wonderful but I think it is heading for the flowers.

  17. Oh I love your garden szene - your picture reminds me of my small house with garden, where I lived many years ago. There was also such a ramshackle, old fence as you painted here
I hope your plants will grow well! Ulrike.
