ON THE SKYROAD

Linking to
"Mix it Monthly" which has the theme "Colourblocking"
to
"Paint Party Friday"
and to
"Art Journal Journey" where the theme is, for a second month, "Inspired by the Masters", and as I've always been a huge fan of Mark Rothko's paintings maybe this is my Mark-Rothko-bird tribute.

  3. A wonderful work, full of hope, energy and lightness. The bird seems to enjoy his time, driving outside on Rothkos "colorful bridge"

I wish you much health and creativity for this new year.

  5. The colorblocking technique is really cool. I like the frosty/icy edges detail. I want to ride through that colorful storm with birdie. That birdie is just the cutest! And look at that adorable whimsical wagon he's riding in! I just want to live in your creative mind. I think it would be the most happiest, funest place to reside!
