SUMMER OF COLOUR - THE UPHILL STREET

I couldn't resist joining in the "Summer of Color" challenge, it looks like such fun.

The colours we have to use in week one are Aqua Blue and Yellow with a dash of hot pink.

And here is The Uphill Street!

I made this extraordinarily quickly, for me, by drawing the design with a fine black pen and using Photoshop to fill in the colours.  I made the pink a slighter clearer pink.

I'm also linking to the wonderful monthly challenge, "Art Journal Journey", theme "Houses".

Gosh, I did enjoy making this.

  8. Really Sheila, your imagination is mindboggling! Who thinks up a title like "The Uphill Street"? Only you, indeed! Making your art all the more delightful. I don't know how you live in the real world. It seems so hohum compared.

  13. Love your little houses, Sheila! It's almost as if the three aqua ones are peeping at their hot pink neighbour! The long road uphill leads the eye to them beautifully. The kaleidoscope design at the beginning uses the COS well too. Hugs!
