SOLITUDE

The theme at "Collage Obsession" this week is "Solitude".

And because, under the right circumstances, one can attain great happiness in solitude I am linking to "Art Journal Journey" who have as their theme this month "Moments of Happiness".

  1. Solitude can be good sometimes, but being on your own day in day out for years is no fun. But I love your beautiful piece, which really conveys the idea of a peaceful solitude! Hugs, Valerie

  2. Oh, I like, I like, I like this! The background color is glorious and the house such brilliance! The faint hinting of the nearby forest and the overall simplicity are perfect for a feel of solitude. I feel like there is so much more to this piece than the eye can see. Well done, my friend!

Solitude always suggests being in the countryside to me, and your little house with the distant trees is perfect!

  19. I think the little purple house is full of happiness and joy and the joy pervading from the house is overshadowing the eerie forest. Very good use of colour to create a mood picture
