A POSTAGE STAMP AND A CHRISTMAS CARD

Sherry at the "Soartful" Challenge has given us an intriguing theme this month, she is asking us to make a design for a postage stamp with a holiday and/or winter theme.
I had great fun with this idea.

Do go over and have a look, and maybe design a postage stamp yourself?

Regular readers may remember Orange Esmeralda making Grunge cards
here.  I chose one of these cards for my Christmas card design this year, but changed the colours from Grunge to Brighter and added a tree.

  6. I love them both, Sheila! Especially the Christmas card with its lovely shades of purple and magenta. The addition of the tree provides a good contrast with the tower, and echoes the pointy roof, very good! Hugs!

  10. Your New Year stamp is lovely in its cool colours and simple design. It seems to say 'Make a New Year Resolution to visit Scotland this year!' How nice to receive a fairy-tale castle card in these soft colours instead of the usual designs - it's only the 8th but already we have two Santas and three Robins!
Thank you for the tip on silicon baking 'tins' - I'll be brave next time and try it - with the liner you suggest.
