A SINGLE FLOWER

A very exciting thing happened.
I was asked to be one of the Design Team for the Soartful Challenges.

This is what I made for my first chosen theme for the challenge.

"A single flower with a minimalist design".

Do go over to Soartful Challenges and have a look, and if you like the idea, please consider making something for my very first challenge theme.

The "Art Journal Journey" has for its theme this month "Less is More" so I have entered my "Single Flower" picture there too.

  7. Congrats on the design team join! I know you're going to bring a fresh and sassy design to each challenge. I really like this new minimalistic design you've painted. Even the flower with it's minimal petals knows quality is best over quantity.

  19. Your minimalist design is wonderful! Congrats on the Soartful Challenges. I'm trying to do more physical art, so I've been making a lot less digital art. But there's certainly a place for both in the art world!

  23. Congratulations, dear Sheila, for joining the design team. And thank you for your supportive comment on my blog! I find it very difficult to produce minimalist art although I admire those artists who can express themselves with simple means. I was scrolling through your blog and find your courage to experiment very inspiring! I wondered, however, how you created the textures of your latest creation, which is very impressive!
