PICATSO

Conny has started a new challenge blog at "Mix it Monthly".

This month the challenge is to create a new artwork, using as inspiration these two pictures,

"Vintage Girl", a free vintage picture

and a Picasso-type painting by Conny herself.

It was also suggested that we use some yellow paint.

I started off by creating the background from "Vintage Girl" by shaking the picture in Photo-edit and changing the colours.  Why would I start off by creating the background first? - why not, seemed like a good idea.

Found a nice yellow sun in Conny's painting,

painted a butterfly from Vintage Girl's hat,

and made a few pretty flowers from Conny's painting.

Who belongs to the Picasso eyes?

PICATSO!

By a happy coincidence, this fortnight the "Order of the Opus Gluei" has its theme as "Chat Noir" or something black or something with a cat, so Picatso can have a little frolic there too.
